Lady who wears many hats

Nicole Malbeuf is the driving force behind trellis as it’s primary performer and instructor, but also as its director. Nicole began her journey in gymnastics and fine art, and later in life, farming, fashion and circus. today she is proud to have all of those life experiences influence her circus arts practice and approach as an entrepreneur.

Maybe you’ve seen Nicole perform on Season 2 of Canada’s Got Talent or entertaining the fans at the half-time show at Toronto Raptors? Nicole is currently on the roster of Cirque du Soleil and actively Performs for various entertainment companies such as Cirque Revolution, The IDea Hunter, Hit & Run Productions. She has Performed for clients across canada such as Westjet, Bell, Honda and Shopify. IN 2024, NICOLE TOOK THE TITLE OF NATIONAL Aerial-Sport CHAMPION at the Canadian Pole & Aerial FITNESS CHAMPIONSHIPS.

her Artistic work has been presented by Public Energy (ON), Femme Du Feu Creations (ON) and Wonderbolt Circus (NFL), and she continues to collaborate with other ontario artists and organizations such as the Peterborough Academy of Circus Arts (ON), Hercinia Arts Collective (ON) and Balancing on the Edge (ON). Her artistic projects has been funded by ElectRic City Cultural Council, Theatre Trent and Canada Coucil for the Arts.

nicole has been coaching movement-based activities in recreational and COMPETITIVE programs since the age of 16. She is a Certified instructor with Ontario Gymnastics, Acrobatic Arts, Aerial Arts and Flying Footless. She is one of very few instructors to teach hair suspension globally. Her coaching is motivated by the desire to provided opportunities and spaces for students to feel empowered, work on their own personal goals and be the best versions of themselves. She is a compassionate instructor with a focus on personal development, safety, sustainability in movement arts.
